Hi, thanks for visiting this site. I'm Laura and the person behind LJT Photography. I live in Norwich with my husband, daughter, and Rosie the cat. Aspects of my photography are inspired by my PhD which focused on childhood humour, drawing on philosopher and philologist, Mikhail Bakhtin's, theory of carnivalesque: the theory being, in essence, a way of seeing the world as turned on its head - a world where anything is possible and nothing has to be as it seems. I'm interested in exploring this idea through my photos with a focus on the dialogic relationships between people, things, and ideas.
