Australian born photographer, Leah Kennedy, uses her photography to explore ambiguity and contrasts, troubling norms relating to social identity, globalisation and the environment. She plays with mixed media and is not afraid to combine art forms to convey her messages, visually. Her work is very interesting and definitely worth further investigation. She hasn't always been a photographer/artist and began her career in technical engineering. I think you can see this experience influencing many of her art works and this adds to the unique approach she has to portraying her visual perceptions of the world.
